First Love At The Window Sill

 the sunset behind you
your brown eyes focused
your black hair messed
the ball in front of you
your knees bent
your shoes scuffed
your head straight
the net your only lover
the ball your only friend
and as i sit there in wonderment
your eyes finally came alive
your blood full of life
like a shooting star once every lifetime you were to me
from then i knew i would always love you
from your unpursed lips to your very toes
i would always love you
standing there
the sunset behind you
and me falling in love
at the window sill.
